Anaphora, though admittedly a word I'd not heard before your comment if I gather its meaning correctly, is summick I've been using quite a bit of late- no idea how it started really.. but I like the effect- it's very subtle, like you said..

On the structure- I actually never used to like the style I was using for Home.. and I had issues reading many poems that were pretty much a column along the left side, with line breaks every few words.. used to break it up in m'mind as I was reading it and.. blah.. basically I started treating line breaks as being more about the shape than the flow of a poem.. and that started being reflected in m'poetry.. the two dot ellipsis is a strange habit I used in a poem once, which I ended up really liking the effect of.. and just ended up using since.. the two, rather than three dot thing is a habit I picked up from an old friend.. it's still a sort of a tribute in m'mind :j

I know it's a strange approach, but it's still something I'm working on- I normally stick to abcb- which is something I'm trying to move away from slightly.. at least for a while.. and this looser style is a mid-way result, sort of..

M'pologies if I'm not makin' any sense.. 'm hideously tired :j

congrats on the daily deviation, you really deserve it. Your writing skills are probablly up there with some of the best writers on DA. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work so keep it coming.

thanks for the comments, i'm thinking about what you said, but i'm afraid i won't be revising the poem anymore. kind of moving on to work on something else.

i think that is the longest, most comprehensive, well thought out critique of one of my poems i've ever seen. seriously. i've never had the feeling one completely understood the method to my madness as well as you had. to say i'm impressed would be an understatement.
